District Rotaract Representative 5500

Soraya Movassaghi

Serving from 07/01/2023 to 06/30/2024

• Works with District Committee Chairs (Cabinet Positions) to support Rotaract Clubs with Rotary Clubs • Lead all Arizona Rotaract Council meetings each quarter in person or zoom. • Educate all Rotaractors about RI and provide RI resources to all Rotaract clubs • Support and check-in regularly with every council Director via in-person, virtually online, over the phone, text message or a method that works best for that individual • Ensure accurate record of Rotaract clubs and members by working with club Presidents to update information every 6 months • Create and maintain a solid relationship with the current executive board of each Rotaract club in the district • Provide advice and support to Rotaract Clubs in implementing their projects • Work with Director, Community Service and help coordinate joint Rotary-Rotaract activities in the district • Work with Director, ELA and Rotaract Clubs to attend training session for Rotaract Club Officers in the District • Ensure all Rotaract Clubs have an updated Constitution and By Laws. • Visits Clubs to understand what can be improved. • Attends training, events and District Conference

District Training, such as PETs, CLA and RLI • Work with Rotaract Clubs to attend training • Work with District Chair and/or Sponsor Clubs to raise funding for Clubs to attend training • Consult with club leaders regarding Club Sustainability (i.e., goals, succession planning) to ensure sustainable club practices

• Reports to the District Governor and supports/connects Rotary Clubs with AZ Rotaract Clubs. • Works with Website host to ensure Website is best represented for the council and club needs. • Administers Rotaract within the District and ensures all clubs report clubs and membership information to Rotary International every year. • The Rotaract Chair finds innovative ways to connect Rotaract Clubs with one another and to strengthen the link between Rotaract and Rotary. • Ensure District Governor’s visibility through Club Visits, attending service projects • Visits Rotary Clubs (6 per year or more) to present AZ Rotaract Council and Clubs • Participate in Tabling Events at Rotary Functions • Attends training, events and District Conference
